Box is a 6th order.Maybe Im being stupid here, or blind, and I haven't read the whole thread... but how is that a 6th order BP when the front of the subs are clearly not firing into a secondary chamber? They just fire into the cabin directly, implying a simple ported setup (albeit with some front-loading on the subs due to their firing direction).
A 6th order means a ported enclosure on both sides of the sub. Im just not seeing that from the video.
So the center 'chamber' is also considered the 'port'? I suppose in the sense of a transmission line you could call a 5 sided box a ported enclosure. But wow. lolBox is a 6th order.
The Center Chamber is only so wide, and has a depth and width to it.
Albeit it is probably tuned very high due to the enormous amount of area, but it is still a chamber.
In a 6th order you want the front chamber to be a large as possible. These boxes do have 4th and 6th order similaritys but are not true 4th or 6th order.Box is a 6th order.
