ATTN: What kinda wall is this? Major hairtrick video?

yizzur, both amps are theoretically running at 0.8ohm but the cab impedance is way over 1ohm, right across the range. it runs seamlessly. he does need an alt though to prolong the impact of the system whilst playing. the frequency response is slightly weighted to the bottom, but when the crossovers are open wide then she will slam a good 50hz. i don't really like 50hz loud much any more so i tend to sit it in the middle of my crossover slope so it plays, but not silly. scruff's tunnel, due to rear chamber volume unloads a little in the 50's at top whack so the crossover is set @ 47hz to keep this effect at bay. this allows us to push the gains up as the system damps better in the low end. although the pbx's state to have 24db/octave LPF's, in my experience, they are probably closer to 12 or 16! this is not a bad thing for scruffs system though. this allows enough information through for a wide upper roll off up to about 60hz. this is when his doors blend in and all is well. ok yes, i suppose he's not got much of a front stage really:laugh: kinda like 100wrms 22k-60hz and den 6000wrms 60-10hz!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif oh and with one port blocked it makes a real pressure 10hz! loudest thing i've heard so far at 10hz pushes ye ear drums!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif safe Henry:)

what size subs are they? What kind of subs are they? But the box looks like 6th order
the drivers are 12" JBL GT5 woofers. £25 each from motorworld. they are very cheap, have a 12.5mm xmax and will eat 275wrms. 92db @2.83v/1m.

the design can be considered, quasi series 6th. it isn't true to 6th order plots at all. if it played like the 6th order calcs said it would then i would have put the plans in the bin! it is as i named it, a rear poted tunnel or manifold. it is between designs, in no mans land if u will. i was told that it wasn't going to work by some other high up audio heads here in the uk but i knew what i had in mind would do exactly as i required. Henry:)

hello, chaps my name is Henry. i have aspergers syndrome and subsequently i am responcible for the design u see an garreths car and a few others that are being used in the uk that follow my same theory. the design does not behave totally like a 6th order bandpass. though sixth order series tuned bandpass is the closest relative as far as alignments go. the the tunnel is a quasi chamber if u will. more of a loose Q control, filter and resonator if u like. Q control like the throte area of a front horn or a k coupler. at high frequecy the chanmber, dependant on volume and opening will load and become resonant. below this point the tunnel is a directional coupler. the port intrution into the tunnel is a phase plug. i designed garreth's (scruff) to be a bottom end monster. and it is. however, fusion uk approched me to design them a show car for their reactor range of drivers. this is a full range monster and has achieved 150db+ in the Propper Droppers (streetbassers.co.uk) format (door/window open, TL on passenger headrest) @ 20hz, 25hz, 33hz, 40hz peak 57hz+2db! flat as hell,

and all from 2500wrms see my avitar

can somon try and break down the technical mumbo jumbo so i could better understand what the man is trying to explain to me please? or provide wiki links or something similar to look it up... it loks like something I'd want to know, but cant get past all ofthe technical terms... (bandpass nob here)

mambo jimbo:laugh: sorry dude, hows this: rewrite:

hi i'm Henry. i got issues. i designed scruff's tunnel box. it's not totally a bandpass. it shares major traits but isn't the same. the tunnel hums along on the highs and the lows flow through it and all out of the mouth which is a particular size. this mouth controls the bandwidth. the funny port bit is supposed to be like that. scruff's plays dirty low which is what we wanted. i've done another tunnel for fusion which has a massive bandwidth and plays very loud over that bandwidth with fcuk all power. i wanted a dropper to punch. hope u like my shizzley, sup bigp91, Henrizzle;)

bad video from france by some french person with inefficient filming skills:laugh:

sorry to any french people, u guys do make awesome cheese!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
