ATTN: What kinda wall is this? Major hairtrick video?

nope. no clue who the guy is. too low of tuning for my liking if it peaks at 25hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif c&s music would sound unbelievable in it but nothing else.
So you have to only listen to music that focuses around the peak frequency of the vehicle? That's pretty retarded. I bet a lot of music would still slam as it's doing over a 150 at 40hz. Since the peak is at a low enough frequency, that little 3dB bump won't appear like much when listening to music that doesn't contain a whole lot around 25hz.

That setup looks pretty badass, something I would love to hear but will probably never get an opportunity to. I'm willing to bet that front chamber acts like a transmission line and the ports/subs drive the line it's hard to tell without knowing the internals. I wouldn't call it a bandpass but I know certain people here who have built similar looking setups will claim it to be a bandpass because they have built them...

That is ridiculous. Would love to set in that vehicle..Wow..
lol kind of makes me want to try the design but scared of the stupid low peaks. just about everyone i know that had this design or had similar had stupid low peaks like steve mick for example. remeber the 158.x? @ 25hz?

thanks for the input jacob
No problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

A "tunnel" box makes a 4th order - then in turn they ported the back chamber, thus creating a 6th order enclosure.

I have thought about building one like this for sick low end as well - loud frequencies under 30 Hz are fun!

yea looks like a 6th order series tuned bandpass

and i has 10 subs so it has quite a bit of cone area and big ports...so my guess is , inside the box the ports are somewhat choked and there long ports

and from looking at the pics in the photobucket i was right as far as the choked ports cuz theres a small divider to redirect the air into the ports from both chambers...

exactly 80 your right. actually the box only had an depth of 6" and his ports had to be 20" long thats why he extended his ports like that. its tuned around 25hz its an sick *** install. are these installs only good for LOW END? everone that i see doing the series tuned 6thorder peak STUPID LOW! like Steve Mick doing an 158.X @ 25hz these boxes not good for upper notes 80?

well it all depends on tuning...if he choose to tune that low then so be it....not all 6th orders are made to peak low...loook at what some folks r doing overseas...there using 6th orders in spl walls...look at alan dante.he has a high tuned 6th order
