ATTN: PS3 & 360 owners

I have a 360 now,and had countless hours of fun on it but i feel like im missing out on something.Plus with all the problem my 360 has giving me,it reallys turns me off sometimes

How is the Playstation network vs live? Im sure it doenst have as much extra downloadable content(being free and all) but im just worried about online play.

Im not to worried about exclusive game because i find myself playing games that both systems have to offer(i.e COD4,NBA 2k,Madden).

What are the pros and cons about both systems?

NOTTTTTTT you pay for xbox live, ps3 online would be wayyy better if you had to pay... and 360s got recalled so many times before they were ok lol

PS3 Online play is very good for being free. I used to play COD4 everyday for like 4-5 hours straight with no problems.

I've played 360 at all my friends houses. For Halo 3 it takes forever and a half to find a game, which sucks. I don't know if that has to do with the way Halo is set up online or the Xbox Live itself. I just got a PS3 for my birthday not too long ago (I still wouldn't shell out the money for either system, but hey, for free, I'll take it). The blu ray/1080 quality is crazy. I'm coming from having a plain old DVD player on a 65" TV screen that looked like ***. It is so sharp now. I can't wait till Gran Turismo 5 comes out. I have Rock Band and Call of Duty 4 and they keep me and my friends occupied for the moment. No complaints about PS3's online service either. Kinda cool how you can just browse the internet and pick up my wireless internet perfectly from the basement with the router being up in my room 2 floors up.

Man, all my buddys that bought 360's and swore never to buy a PS3 and were hating on me for buying one, calling me a fanboy and shit, They all have shiny black PS3's sitting in there living rooms now:laugh:

Its all good, I can borrow their games now.

I have the xbox and would rather have a ps3 now. I am considering shelving the xbox for the ps2, to tell the truth.

I own both.

Xbox live layout is better, easier to navigate, more functions. With that said, sony in constantly upgrading theirs making it better, plus its free.

Game selection isnt a big issue to me. Granted, each has its exclusives that catch my eye. If there is a game i want, i grab it. As far as Xbox kicking the PS3 *** in terms of games is BS. The only real standout game on xbox for me is Gears of War. The only other games that come to mind are Mass Effect, and Bioshock. PS3 has MGS4, Ratchet and Clank, R:Fom, Warhawk, GT. Most of the newer franchise games are dual platform.

Seems kind of a dead even race for both, games wise. (IMO)
