17"s, dont have a clue of the make. bought them off my buddy for $100. there were used as winter rims for 3 years and i brought them back to life. there pretty fvckin whipped if u look at them up close

Whats the overall best port/sub placement? I see some have firing into the cabin, some with subs up port back? some subs back port back?

Im just wondering cause i got a tlab coming in, and i fear the worse of a all day testing session //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif and around here thats a risk of flashing my equipment/beating loud and getting too much unwanted attention. Meaning I have minimal testing time(prolly about 1-2min testing sessions per day before the ****ing cops are called on me).

BTW: Im posted up with 2 btls 12"s, 32hz tuned(nice large port),....subs and port facing back as of now with port on the pass side.

this was before i went active..its actually louder now i think...deadening now too. less trunk rattle

I got several options, subs forward(into cabin), port on drivers side or pass side..or subs back and port drivers/pass side. I got a feeling for some reason with this setup subs and port into the cabin is going to make a difference..just cause the box can pretty much fit the width of the opening with the seats down......

If you do forward firing, which for me was definately loudest, it is impairitive to have the rear deck sealed, and the box sealed to the cabin. You don't want any air getting back into the trunk.

i layered the whole decklid with expanding foam.. think that is sealed enough?

i just wish my trunk didnt rattle, and my box is too big and heavy to have to take out again.. like 170-200lbs with subs in it.. and it barly fits in my trunk, the box size fits all max dimensions of my trunk, just 1/2" short from the top, and 1.5" clearance on the sides :/

took me 3 hours to get in.. cant wait to see how long it would take me to take out, seal with dynamay/fatmat/whatever else

hey what type od deadener you using and i seen your going to carlisle i should be there dont know if cra will be done but i hope.Alt should be here by end of week but my amp took a shit so i dont know how long its gonna take to get it back i might just by another one.I just need some batts but i will see you there
