Attn Loud Trunks

This car posted a 148.9 at the headrest at MECA World Finals. The crazy thing is that we never even messed with the tuning of the box, so I'm figuring that this box could have done a 149.5 - 150 at the headrest with some more time. On the dash, I'm sure it was already doing a 150.
Equipment:

Amps: Sundown saz3000d's (2)

Subs: Sundown Nightshade 12's (2)

Box: 2 6" aeros

What type of car and how big of box/tuning was it if you don't mind me asking?

my IB setup gets surprisingly loud... w/ 250w..
Well it is loud enough. I am just saying it doesn't reach 140s and above like a ported enclosure geared toward higher numbers. It is plenty for us. Bassheads need not apply though.

Your drivers are also a bit better in IB than the ones I am using. We are using similar power to them though.

I thought the sub I'm using right now would be power hungry, being an Rl-p motor with Fi softparts. I just threw it in for the hell of it and it ended up sounding really nice IB'd.

the sub is only seeing one channel of my 4channel amp (250w @ 2ohms), -7dB on the xover, and 5/15 sublevel

and it still gets loud. It's a mystery to me. I don't know why it works so well, but I like it.

I just noticed it has Fi soft parts. The Rl-P is actually a popular driver for home IB. Many on infinitely baffled have used it. I don't know what changes using the Fi parts has done though.
