you lose your low end power, but if you're setting up for SPL then you should be tuned high, in which case it shouldnt have much of an effect

thanks for the info fella's.i know kicker recommends a 1.75 -3.something for the l7.i have the round version.for the round version,it says 1.75-2.25^3.this is where i am confused about putting my cvx in a l7 design.i did see a guy on youtube that had a cvx wired to 1 ohm on a crunch groundpounder in a 3 cube box and even the air in his tire was flexing.so i was wondering if i went with a 3 cube tuned to 35hz with the zx1000.1 that i have coming,would i have more intense low end ? or would i lose more low end ?

Personally I like sub forward port on driverside. Works best in my vehicle anyway. LOL

Port back sub back was like watching the Twin Towers falling! LMAO If its flex ya want port back. If its numbers forward sealed to the cabin works best. IMO
