Hey, forgot your screen name! I saw your thread on your van being wrapped and you mentioned being able to fix the ring of death on 360's

Thinking about picking up a 360 or a ps3, do you have any used ones for sale? How much is it to fix the ring of death on a 360? Kind of scared to buy one used because of it.

Its only like 50 bucks or something to get the microsoft warraty and I think its 1 year free then you get 2 extra (dont get the in store ones they ****)

Oh I didnt realize you wanted to buy used.

How much cheaper is it? I dont know if id buy any system used, especially a 360. I love it but I have had to send mine in for repairs once already (I think they got the problems fixed now but if you buy used you always have the chance of getting a bad one)

The warranty that covers the RRoD is three years automatically. If your used one were to have a problem, all they ask for is the serial number, as they can track when it was manufactured and purchased. I don't think Habib from India will really piece together it being used unless you buy it from someone out of state, then you could just say you moved or something.

The warranty for say, failed disc drives, or what have you is only one year, unless you get MS' three year extended for 50. That'd be the only one that wouldn't be transferrable or able to purchase after the fact.
