He said to buy a aftermarket h/u and that would fix my low voltage problem. I was trying to ask what exactly am i looking for in the headunit if i were to puchase one ex: Peak Output, RMS Output, etc.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
You think the converter is bad? so possibly switching it out would fix my low voltage problem?i'd say the converter is bad or the ground burned inside.
I dunno about if RMS output of a head-unit is true (look for CEA-2006 compliancy) on it, also, I'd find a head-unit with at least 4v pre-outs. Would you be adding an amp onto the external speakers also? Look for a head-unit with 3 pre-outs (front, rear, and subwoofer). He said to buy a aftermarket h/u and that would fix my low voltage problem. There is one wire that is hanging by the converter not plugged into anything but i'm not sure its meant to be like that
Well the higher pre-out voltage the lower you will have to run the gain on the amplifier. I would look for a min 2 volt but some prefer 4 volts pre-outs. My current deck is 2 volt.Lol. aight you win ^^
