Finally. I was getting really tired of reading the bandpass posts, to be honest. No matter what anyone says, the efficiency gains of a bandpass enclosure (especially as you move up in orders by adding additional Helmholtz resonators) are extremely diminished if you're not willing to sacrifice bandwidth. They're fine for SPL competitions (and it seems some are finally starting to understand them better, especially in Europe) but they just don't hold any real value in a daily install covering 1 or 2 octaves. This is plain and simple physics and well understood.
