14+ i dont want it to be too heavy no more than like 6 pounds.....good screen display good speakers .....decent graphics card and a nice design...my real question is like what base to start with like a dell xps or a sony viao .....

Some other user just ordered a UPS and i believe it took a couple months. So uh, viao. Although i'd go with a Thinkpad or something.

ok let me just tell u my needs then......i have a desktop which is very nice can run most all games and has good harddrive space.....for the laptop im lookin into...it will be for school so i want it to be semi lightweight ....but i also want to be able to listen to music and watch vidoes in good quality...... with a descent case design....the $3000 i was just sayin no more than that so no one would tell me to get a falcon or somethin crazy that i cant afford

Doubt he needs OS X. Macs are overpriced to all hell.

i like everything about a mac but its operating system....haha...kinda sucks...i kno i can run windows on it but still i wouldnt buy a mac to run windows on it

i just bought a xps 1330, but its a 13.3" laptop

loving it so far

has nvidia gfx card but its a 8400, so you can do some gaming but nothing too major

asus has a 14" one coming out with 8600gt i believe

the highest gfx card i know in a laptop is 8700, dont remember which comp
