I am thinking instead of paying my local shop 350 to build my box/trunk. Building it myslef, and since i cant cut, getting all my cuts done at the depot. Also i am using a different design than origanllay planned. My question to ou guys is...

Can you tell me the outside dimensions of this box using 3/4 MDF..

4.5cuf + port displacement

3x16.25 port 14.75" long

If you need more info, i will try to get it, but i need to know what the external size of this box will be to see if i can fit it in my trunk, or if it can be resized to fit if it wont, but i think it is a fixed size. Thanks in advance.

All you do is take your measurements and multiply them together then divide by 1720 to get your cuft.

So, just play around with measurements and multiply them together and divide until you find some measurements that will give you 4.5.

4.5 sounds like a tight fit in a trunk too, i may be wrong tho

Give me the maximum dimensions you can use and it will take 0.3202384734298 seconds man. We need to know some sort of dimensions to deal with. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

ok, the sub is a 2005 L5 15.

Can't you get the tuning from the port dimensions?

BRB Measuring trunk.

Maximum Dimensions are...

30.5" wide

15.5" Tall

29" Deep

Needs to be smaller so it can actually fit in the mouth of the trunk.

haha gl

Actually its closer to 40ish, but thats not subtracting the displacement of the port wall. Alright man, just because I have nothing to do I'm going to get this together for you and make up a quick drawing. Gimmie like 30 min.

i wanted it to fire back, because doesnt firing up make the driver work harder? dont flame!, but if it doesnt, nad i have to, i will fire up. my aim is 'b0c4j'
