I know that, but the assembly line made it possible to mass produce automobiles, and it also jump started the modern form of manufacturing, basically changing the way everything was produced. I didn't say solely, but Detroit has had an extremely vast impact on the producing of automobiles.

I disagree... if some of these had of been mods or stayed mods... the liklihood of them leaving would have been far less...

I'd rather have it outlined, that if they do it...they get banned. I have a thread that's stickied, telling everyone, that if they do it, they'll get banned. Hopefully this will influence people not to post it- I'd rather people see this, and stop posting it, then have to ban them, because I didn't tell them not to.

As far as the people listed, and you disagreeing...I think both me and icetee covered this...several of them WERE mods, and left...and a couple have no desire to be mods..

-Steve is still a mod, doesn't really come around all that often--pretty much lurks

-same with denim, he comes around, lurks, posts a decent amount still, but isn't really here enough

-ramos is rarely here

-zane hasn't been here in ages

-Lloyd hasn't been here in forever, was a mod, has no desire to be one

-devildriver is an 05'er, who has ~1000 posts, 1.xx ppd, I don't think he really qualifies, no offense

-helotaxi was a mod, is never around

-squeak is still a mod, doesn't come around as much as he used to, and IIRC doesn't want to be a mod anymore

Those are the people listed. 5 of them either are, or were mods at one point, and do not contribute nearly as much as they used to.

ramos and zane were never mods, but zane hasn't been a regular in years, and ramos still comes around, but not all that often.

So the flaming has been here since 02, it's just we have more people now? So really the forum hasn't changed, just more faces in the game. It's like high school. All the freshmen are seniors now, and the freshmen class just go bigger and is threatening the seniors.

People are making a huge deal out of this...when it's nothing of importance. We're saying you cannot mask a link that sends your browser into seizure mode...what's the big deal with not being able to post a masked link?

I wish I could find the original thread... I thought I saw it earlier, but am a bit drunk atm and don't feel like searching... We initiated a "flaming thread" or forum... which was specifically meant for that purpose. It was mostly about having fun and bullshitting around.

There is another thread here somewhere as well... that goes into great detail on exactly how the forum would wind up in a few years.... sadly.. it's pretty much 100% come true... another thread I will have to find later on.

Eh... I happen to know he's well into ****.. however.. I also see his standpoint... this is NOT an adult website and many minors come here. I don't want my 7r old having access to that type of shit... if you were a parent u may understand a bit more... not being one, I don't expect you to understand.
