atomic quantom subwoofers, any good?

im thinkin of gettin a blown one for around 100ish... good deal? spl woofers?

- Audiophile's Sound Quality

- Cast Aluminum Basket

- Metallic composite PolyMica Cone body.

- Tight Bass 15 inch sub .

whats the prices on these new? i cant find prices on atomicspeakers.com

also how are atomic apx 18"s ... i can get a blown one for 250

This is Atomic's SQ line, as opposed to the AP and APX SPL line,

I've heard these already, they are very smooth, overall a nice alrounded woofer, still stronger in upper frequencies imho.

for 100 i say go for it.

About the APX, it is a very good SPL sub,it will take tons of power on burps, i'm not sure about the price though, u need to call Atomic and compare the price of a recone to a new one. and then decide.

The quantums are pretty nice, I used to have a 15'' and I powered it with 1500 watts and it took them nicely. They have a pretty nice sound to them. I picked mine up for 80 bucks used from a guy on egay, used it for about a month and then sold it to get my mojo. Overall though it is a pretty well rounded sub.

Atomic is good stuff!! I'm runnign a AP/SPL and love it. If I remember right the APX is equal to the IA DP. The APX is an awesome sub!! I'd take the APX and get a recone for it!

I have an APX 15 It is loud and it sounds good. The recones are approx. $90 shipped. But don't depend on getting it quick. They are slow.
