i got a pair of memphis 4kw's strapped at .7 been playing them daily no problems but i shouldnt be doing that im more spl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif i ran my 9510s of one memphis 4kw for like3 months at 1 ohm and when they where still stiff like the day i bought them. me and and someone else played with them in his crx' the ele's the apx and the dd"s i think the DD's where .4-.6 louder tehn the apx and the apx was like .6 louder tehn the ele. in like 4 different sets of boxes he had. also the atomic's the eles fell apart in like 2 days of testing the apx's in like 2 weeks the dd's never fell apart. im not a fan of anyone cause no one hooks me up with shit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but i dont deserve it anyways lol. so i try to run what is more convenient and loudest. and to date teh dd is the loudest sub ive tested and way more reliable. i have never ever lost a coil. i have had a dd fall apart and another start rubbing but they still would play //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
its really up to you what you run you will probably save money in the short run with the atomic and if carefull might not ever have to recone it. but from what i know the DD wont blow as eazy and you will probably make up the money lost in the long run from not needing recones.
