I just picked up a atomic 5k, the one from 2010- rated at .7 not .5 like the newest one. Looks the same though. I'm wondering how does it compare to other more popular 5ks? DC, AB, saz4500. Never hear much of anything about these amps. Google brings up one clamp from the guy I bought it from-steve who runs NESPL org.

No i just got it. So would you rather run the atomic or a DC5k or ab450.1?

If you're chasing 10ths in the 5K limited class you should be looking to find a PAIR of the DD M3 amps. That's about the most under-rated 5K you're going to find. Otherwise IMO you're really splitting hairs between the 3 or 4 reliable Korean 5K boards.

I would hold what you got or get the dc5k but yea not that much of a difference. I may choose an IA40.1 or single DDM4 if those are options.
