The board does look about the same on each amp, but same board does not mean same amp at all, it is about the components in/on the board. Both Atomic and Sundown are known for being very high quality products with high part quality, however Sundown does have much better CS and you know what you are getting with the amp. Tests have shown that these amps will do at least 3kw+ on less than 12v, I do not know what the Atomics are capable of, probably very close to that. It is a tough decision based on performance of the products, but I would lean towards the Sundown. And when it comes to Customer Service Sundown wins hands down, not to mention you can get a refurb, with a year warranty for $700 and it is an authorized refurb.After that long *** post SUNDOWN FTW!! I am actually thinking about getting 2 of the refurbed 3000's to power my 2 HD3 15's

ok not trying to be a dick but i know all that lol and if i was gonna drop 700 on a 3000 watt amp il buy the sundown but i got the atomic for 450 so im just trying to see iff the components have the exact same specs so i made a diagrahm with the component numbers so someone with a sundown 3000d can compare them and let me know how close they really are thanks for the imput tho http://img150.imageshack.us/my.php?image=30002fullsizecq0.jpg

kind of a closer look. if you arent competing at all in usaci or anything. imo its which ever one is less exspensive

though like posted the newer saz300 will disipate heat faster. thats great if running amps in tight area,unventilated or just running it crazy hard it seems to be a better choice. i like my 3250.1s =) run em hard they never ***** lol or get hot. =)

My bad I did not read the thread and did not know that you already owned an Atomic 3000.1. If I were you I would have got the Atomic for $450 too, I wish i could have found either of these amps for $450 good find.

thanks guys....and i kinda think when someone does do a comparison on those internal component numbers an specs they will be the same on all those amps but still i cant waite till someone takes the 10 minutes it took me to do that lol just so we know for sure ....but regardless of the outcome on that 450 is a danm good deal on that amp...thanks spl_guru great guy an seller!

all great amps. =) 450 is a steal. 600 is a steal. but I like the fact that sundownz warranty transfers to the new owner.
