at a loss with my clifford matrix 50.5x

What did you have it grounded to? cold soldeR?

And don't dog on test lights //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I love my snapon... although mostly I use my meter with ez-hooks.

i did a good solder job on it. let the iron heat up the wire for a sec and then hold the solder on the opposite side ad let it flow right in. yeah i gotta get some hooks for my meter. sears has a set i am gonna ask for for xmas. until then i just use a gator clip and shove it on the negative and stab the wire hoping it dont stab my finger.

Make sure the hoodpin wire (should be gray) is not grounded. Make sure the neutral safety (should be black white) is.
Tach, voltage sense, crank time... whatever none of that is your problem because that only tells the alarm when to stop cranking. If your remote is not even acknowledging the remote start command, then one of the prerequisites for rem start is missing, (neutral safety not grounded, hoodpin grounded, or foot brake stuck on +12v) Since you've already checked the first two I would make sure you have the correct foot brake wire. It will show +12 when you're on the brake.
It doesnt matter at this point, the alarm would still acknowledge the remote start signal if anti theft is enabled. Your car just wouldn't start. Re-read my previous post and go from there.
