Assault Audio?

A friend of mines picked up a new amp that his friend suggested.... personally i never heard of a company named "Assault Audio" and I think his friend mislead him. He never looks at forums for some odd reason and doesn't trust my opinion. Just wanted to know if anyone ever heard of this company.... thanks for your input.
