Assassin subs from Ascendant Audio?

I was just reading a thread on these things, and everyone made it sound like these things were pretty good for 75$ for a 12". Im guessing the shipping wont be that much, so proly still under 90$ for one sipped to my door. I have 2 more questions about these things. One, there is a RMS power, and a rec. power. Which one would i go by? second, how would these match up against a well known sub? Ill take for instance, a type r. I can get a 12" type r shipped to my door for 115$. Are these assassins for real, or should i spend the lil extra money and get a well known and trusted sub like a type r?

asassins are sq oriented type rs arent. The assasin is almost half the price and has a real warranty the rs dont. Yea, shipping from IL to OH shouldnt be much at all. As for power handling... Id call up chad.
