asking the RIGHT question...

i am slowly learning that in order to get a answer on this thread you have to ask the right question....... so...... i am told that 4x6 speakers arent good. PERIOD, and that i should get a 5.25 or up component system, but it wont fit in my front door...so...... would it be a good idea to mount the speaker on outside the door instead of inside the door? are there any cons to this idea? how hard would it be? would it affect the sound of the speaker?
