Well, they will play louder than the Avalanches in every aspect. The low end is even more unbearable with the HaVocs , but the higher frequencies get alot louder than the Avalanches did at the higher notes. Louder in every aspect.

I loved my AVA. New havocs could be in the future with some mids to go with em

The mids are amazing. Even off deck power. The HaVocs... well, my 18s are incredible, and if the new production 18s are all they are cracked up to be, well, I may be upgrading again.

By the way I still enjoy my ava 15 very much Chad and as some may know I am quite a stickler for great sound quality and amazing low bass response above all else.

Being that I’m a student I have nothing other than time to devote to this.

Seriously I think 6.5" midbass drivers are cursed... But this isn't the place for that. I have a little bit of extra time here now that it’s the holidays in china (at least over the next two weeks).
