I like my HaVoc 18s Quite an upgrade from Avalanches.

They would work well in a 3 way system as the woofer but they wouldnt fare well below 20Hz in a very large room with out a good number of them or a really good enclosure. Line aray of 8" assasins FTMFW?

I imagine the poly 6.5"'s will remain the same.

Hopefully the price doesn't rise much if any on the assasin 8" .. i dont mind little more if it is upgraded besides the cast basket.. hopefully however it stays under $100 since that is the reason I want to go with an AA 8" and not a TC sounds/ SS 8"

Congrats though to both parties involed and hopefully it works out well.

its cuz they all sold out i assume and they gonna put the new drivers specs when they are available

Just ALOT louder all around in the same box. The HaVocs also don't have the low end bias that the Avalanches had and have a MUCH stronger upper end. I wonder what the first production HaVoc 18s will be like. Mine have a double stack slug, the new ones have triple. Should be quite interesting.

So shawn, how do you play into this? Ive only heard your name mentioned a couple times here on the forums and never really knew much about what you do in the audio commuinity.
