Alrighty, I dont know if this has been posted already, but I was talking with Chad earlier and just decided to ask.

The complete Atlas line is gone for the sale price. However every size is still available for the Avalanches. He said if you going to order, try to do it by the end of the week, or they might all be gone. He expects everything to be sold out by the end of the month. Phones are still ringing like crazy he says.

If your thinking about getting some, do it. Awsome products and cheap prices, but hurry.

By the way never go to soundillusions.net and post anything about shipping or product availability for Ascendant Products... They either delete or move the post to the dirty laundry thread.... not sure why, and it gets a little stupid at times...

Because you are supposed to email or call the company for shipping or product availability. The message board is to ask questions regarding their products.

Enclosure, wiring, power handling, etc. questions.

What is that all about???????????? I thought forums were for asking any kind of question so as to get answers from people who might know. Whether that is product availability, quality, installation help, shipping time-lines, or customer service. go to eD's forum. you can't ask questions about anything without getting the padlock on your thread.

And I am pretty sure Chad set it up that way. If I understand correctly the Manufacturers can run their own seperate forums more or less however they want it. So perhaps blame is being placed in the wrong spot.

That has nothing to do with it. Everyone runs their board differently.

If they chose to forgo shipping and/or product availability questions, more power to them. This way they don't have to be tied to the computer so much. As far as I know Ascendant doesn't have any reps, so Chad would be the guy having to answer all of the questions.

Would you rather him be out getting the speakers shipped/getting new products ready for release or on the internet answering if Robman69's sub shipped.

MY Point Exactly. If I have to call him directly to figure that out he is answering a bunch of phone calls that aren't even orders... If you are able to post the questions on the vendor forum and have other customers that know the answer then you will not be bothering an already very busy man. People on the soundillusions forum just seem to think that I/we expect Chad to answer the posts... Not at all, I too would rather Chad be building, designing, or otherwise involved with the procurement and shipping of our subs and not answering stupid repetitive questions. Leave that to other customers in the know who probable all ready called and got the answer, thus saving additional repetitive phone calls.
