The Arsenal is also much flatter than the Avalanche in frequency response,

or most any driver that I have ever measured. At 80 Hz is is around 5 dB louder

than the Avalanche.

Also lets see how under-rated the arsenal is, i'm giving my ava 1200W, not 800 and she doesn't always like it, but she takes it like a pro. If i feed this arsenal 1200W i wonder what will happen? I won't be finding out cause its dual 4ohm

Sure sounds to me like AA is trying to fill people's heads with BS. Comparing the two subs at 80hz and above? Whatever. Hey whats the response like at 20k? Nobody cares how a sub does above 80hz, that's simply absurd. Talking about output differences and wording it so only efficiency seems to be the guidline? If AA wants to talk about how the new sub is more efficient, they should simply say that. All this talk about more output in the same box with the same power and implying that's the end-all answer to output potential is... misleading at best. You can see its even mislead some people here.

Like someone else said, trying so hard to compare the new sub favorably to the old one, it appears they are just playing a smoke and mirrors game.

I disagree and will make judgements once people post ACTUAL experiences...not the usual he said she said BS hearsay that goes on around here. " I know specs cannot be denied", but I still say wait until people use these things before giving such negative connotations to them based on the interpretations of comments made by AA.

Seriously! my sub is crossed @ 69hz. What does that gain @ 80hz mean for me? Nada.

I agree so far as my comments have nothing to do with the actual performance of these new drivers, as I have no experience with them (obviously). Im only commenting on the comparison criteria presented here.

I'm at a loss now. I currently have 2 10" ID v3s no idmax style in my truck which has small mount depth and .9ft per chamber sealed with a jbl 600 should i stay with what i got or change. I always want more lol SQL setup for rock/country mostly with small amounts of rap.. I Know you probably get asked this a million times but after searching I can't decide. thanks
