As long as I have one "Car Audio" Battery

I have a Stinger SPV44 for my main battery and I have a stock car battery that came with my Hyundai. Do I really need to spend more money on a "car audio" battery or am I fine with the stock battery for use as a 2nd battery backup?

My system I'm installing:

Two Atomic 2200.1 amps

2 DD3510's

1 Atomic 504 4 channel amp.

You need at least two more batteries. Even if you go to walmart and buy some $50 900 cca batteries and wire them in parallel, you'll be insuring that your setup has sufficient power.

well duh, but its better than draining a SPV44 until the sides start to swell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

well then I guess I'm fine. I need to somehow setup that relay to where when my one battery is going dead it switches to the other charged or half charged one. I saw a thread on it on here and even searched for it. I'm not sure if it's really even called a relay. fill me in if you can please.

umm....why? You're talking about an Isolator, but they're really just a waste of money that you could be applying to more batteries. Just wire all the batteries in parallel with your under the hood battery and call it a day. Don't complicate the **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Need more with those 2 Atomic amps in there. Like snoop said, I would go and get some cheap batteries, but personally would run a couple more Stingers in there or whatever el cheapo dry cell you can get if money is an issue. Don't want battery acid everywhere back there.
