Art series probs

I have an A600.2 art series amplifier and i have it running my kappa perfect componants, i have tried everything i can think of to get them to get loud but it seems like they arnt playing to their potential, I had a crossover hooked up at 1st and that helped a little then i disconected that and got an eclipse 21000 eq and hooked that up, i have the amp turned up all the way and it gets loud and distorted when all of the defeats are off but when on it gets clearer but sounds as loud as stock speakers at best, is there anything i am doing wrong ? I also have a McIntosh mc 420 i can run but i dont know if thatll give the kappas the amount of power they need, should i ditch these amps or can i make it work some how?

What's the high pass frequency on the Kappas? If you are playing them full-range that will severly limit how loud they can be without distortion.
