Arsenal 12" box too big?

I obtained a spare tire enclosure for my VW Scirocco a while ago and have been thinking about using it. I believe it's 1.4 cu ft(7"deep, 21" wide not counting the mdf).

On AA's website they say the 12" needs 1.2 cu feet for a sealed box.

1.4 too big? I'm going to be powering it with a Viper D1200.1, probably going to run it @2 ohms for 800rms. Any thoughts?

I really dont think that .2 cubes is really going to make much of a difference. Or at least an audible one. But I could be wrong.

Hmm... not to change subjects, but I've been looking at the ss rl-p... it looks pretty good too(maybe better).
