arrested for bumping?

well i have gotten myself into a little trouble for my music being too loud in the past, and i really do try my hardest to turn it down

but today, i think it went a little to far

i almost got arrested

a cop on a mountain bike that has given me a ticket last week, came up to me again today

i was listening to sublime (not any bass at all) and he came up to my car and tole me to pull to the side

i pulled over and he told me to get out of the car

he said he was arresting me and having my car towed and my bail would be set at 100 bucks (i am only 16 mind you)

he had me on the curb w/ my girlfriend just watching

my father is a lawyear and i wanted to call him, but i was scared, i honestly didnt think he could do that since i was only 16

he said id have to pay a few hundred to get ym car out and another 2 or 3 hundred in tickets not including the one i got last week

i asked him if he could honestly arrest me for loud music and his responce was "i can do what ever i want, im a cop"

well after a load of yelling, name callign and lecturing he let me go, but i am still owndering if he could have really arrested me

this tuned out to be a 45 min ordeal

naturally im selling the subs and getting something alot less because i came to the conclusion, my music isnt worth jail time, no matter how much i like it =/

truth .... also you can be taken to jail on ANY ! misdemeanor citation and be forced to pay the fine before you are released ..

or you can be taken to jail under suspicion and be held for at least 72 hours without any charges being filed
