I mean it sounds like the amp is just really sensitive. Mine are in my trunk and they are really hot when I get in. But they do not protect.

I would throw a couple computer fans on it, and maybe let it cool for a couple minutes before you turn it up. Not much we can do about 120 degree weather. It is god awful, though.

i moved here from WA. im not on here much since most people are on Facebook now.
