So i built a box for my two 10" LA storms. The box size after displacement is 2.5 and suppose to be tuned to 32 hz. I have two 3x12" in length areo ports with exiting flare on it but not the entering flare on it for inside the box (no room). Now on some notes i get alot of port noise, does this mean i need more port area?

thanks

Yes. I'd try two 4" ports.

the inside flares would have reduced port noise as well. maybe just try to plan everything out first before you build? it seems logical
no room for end flares inside the box, this a a under the seat enclosure and it tappers down in the back.

the port noise is because both ends of the ports arent flared. I read somewhere that that causes problems with the pressure cylinder of air going through the ports. I wish i could explain it scientifically, but thats what I read.

Yea i read not having end flares will do this, but they will not fit one bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
