No. He's simply been egging on a few people but has not in the least bit substantiated on why he would vote for Obama.
Why I will vote for McCain?

1) His moral values or closer to mine than Obama's.

2) I don't feel like having my taxes go up.

3) He realizes that the rich paying 59% of the tax burden of our country is enough and that if they are taxed more, it's us middle and lower class people that will pay it with our jobs (or loss of jobs) and prices on things.

4) He better understands the mindset of certain world leaders.

5) He's not only about his speeches. He has a record to back him up. He has experience and I'll take experienced over rookie just about all the time.
So you would not take Kobe Bryant (After 2 years) over say Robert Horry in a 1 on 1? Just throwing it out there.

Although I don't agree with half your reasons, they are your reasons. I feel like the old man and the MILF would make America look weak(er). But if participating in the voter process and voting for the candidate that you feel is best qualified when it is already decided means something to you, so be it.

I was curious as to these moral values.

how is obama kobe bryant???????//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Basketball and judgment are very different... besides that if you want to use that you have to throw in Stephon Marbury and a crazy Rodman into the mix as they would represent Pelosi and Reid in the Big 3:laugh:

You have been arguing with no substance for a few pages now, simply egging people on. I am curious to see why you would vote for Obama. Please humor us and actually put some substance in your post.
i second that. he told me to tell him why i would vote for mccain and i told him. but he never told me why he would vote for obama.

Nah Brah........... He was trying to hit on the experience and lack of thing that has been beaten into the ground. A good comparison I felt though.

And for the record, I never said Kobe is compared to Obama.

Obama's resume in national politics is far thinner than Kobe's was out of high school ... he was hyped by local Government but besides almost 1 billion in ear marks in 2 years he actually done far less than anyone else he beat in even the Democratic primaries...his "transparency laws" are not very transparent either... his tax plan and health care plans he has not released enough actual info about specifics to really come to any conclusion you can write in stone about...so regardless if he whines about people pegging his ideas wrong he has not released anything of actual fact to back anything up....you really need to look up Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid too as well as Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. These will be the power "players" in an Obamafied government....let them go unchecked and you are asking for change all right

Haven't voted in a long time, so no I won't be voting for either of them. We are fawked now, and feel we will be even more fawked reguardless who is in office.

I do like Obama's plans more, but shit is debate after debate. Shit is not going to change for some time for the better anyway, so I don't get those debates. Plus they always say, I will do this if you vote for me and do that.........do you honestly think they will? Probably not. They have to get votes some how and then when asked months and months down the road why shit isn't changing, they will come up with some lame excuse.

I feel we are in shit wayyyyy past our heads and will be sometime till this country or the World will be back to running some what smoother.

I do feel bad for whoever takes over. They got their hands full of nothing but shit without toliet paper.

Also if McCain dies, which he just may as he looks like he is about to kill over at any moment, then we are stuck with Palin! Yeah, fawk that noise !

Tax breaks and credits are not redistribution of wealth like Obama plans on doing. He is literally taking from the rich (at his and the governments discretion) and redistributing it as they see fit.

McCain is not dieing either he had about every bone in his body broken in this thing called Vietnam.

Palin regardless what the media says is the most liked Governor by their own state in the history of polls..Biden couldn't lead a drunk to liquor because he would drink it all and Obama hasn't even had a successful "community organizing" project much less any education progress as an executive with Bill Ayers.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

CNN misquoted a right wing article that was BASHING the left wing media to make it sound as if he were bashing Palin...the writer of the article was wondering how "competent" Drew Griffin was after watching the interview:laugh:

The media brings out all the shit they can right now, especially right now. With that said, all I hear is about what Palin is doing wrong. She is in the media more than anyone, hell even more so than McCain. All I know is if McCain died, which again looks like he would kill over any moment, then I am not confident in Palin running the country. Now her being an avid myspacer, then that is cool, lol!

Also I know McCain has been through some shit in Vietnam. That war is what now, over 40 years old now. So nice try.

interesting commentary.

Sidebar, this commentary is getting dicyer than the election for Homecoming Queen. I mean some of the bickering is downright silly that I've seen.

How did this turn into the 2008 election stuff anyway? I"m asking about Bush and how people view their decision to vote for him now. Anytime I vote for an elected candidate, I'll definitely do the same.

Sidebar squared, I've heard from my friends in the black community that there are numerous people they know in the community that will NOT vote for Obama because he is black (yes that's right, black people that won't vote for the black guy). I'm pretty sure these are non-voters tho so they sux and should die for wasting space (haven't encountered anyone that plans on doing this myself yet).

3rd sidebar: ALL OF YOU PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM SHOULD VOTE!!!! I don't care who you vote for, just vote! People died for the right, lets not waste their sacrifice by sitting by and not taking part in our country's voting process. Even if you feel its not gonna matter, vote anyway. I know my vote won't matter (Ohio's gonna be bloody red), but at least I can say I honored the people that died for the right by exercising it.
