i currently have a yellow top optima battery connected to a alpine m1000 amp. kdc-x794 hu with 4v preamp outs. and the m1000 is pushing two 1022D 10" 2ohm subs. right now my ground/power wire is 4ga and my speaker wire from amp to subs are 12ga

should i upgrade to 2ga on the ground/power wire or is 4ga plenty?

MORE CONCERNED about should i upgrade the 12ga speaker wire to 10 or 8? or is it fine?

length of power wire is about 14 feet, ground is 10 inches, speaker wires are about 4 feet.

your good to go
ok cool. issue i was concerned with is crutchfield website shows i need 4ga power/ground and 12 ga speaker wire, so thats what i bought. but on the rockford fosgate website wire calculator, its showing i am BARELY in the 4ga area for power/ground and that my speaker wire should be 8ga???????
