Are these subwoofers good for spl?

I have two -15" MTX Thunder 8000s. She I put them in a bandpass or ported box? I also have an old 15" Punch and a 15" Kicker. I'm going to put them in my lil' brothers regal. What kinda box do I need and what amps should I use for all the woofers?

for spl you want ported and for sq then sealed..the 8000's arent bad subs..they sound pretty good in a ported box with spl hope this helped

those generalizations of boxes are too amature, lol.

ported allows for better low end extension, but sealed provides an even frequency response...

Sealed giving the best overall performance at ALL frequencies (generally) ported giving good SQ and great boominess with a nice spike at the boxes tuning point with bandbass generally ouning liek hsit, lol.

port those MTX's,

the 15's, dont miz the two, pick one or the other and put that one in...
