Are these speakers worth it?

ok, well the ones he suggested are only 50w, should i look for higher?
i want BAD *** comp speakers if im not gonna get back ones....

i just still find this so confusing that its better to not have more speakers in the back...

more is better usually, doesn't make any sense
wrong again i guarantee my one 15 is louder than your 2 12's

my one 15 is louder than my buddy's 2 15's and his is on more power...

HELL my one fifteen is louder than my old 2 15's were ha

also ridley not trying to down your system just showing you that more is not better always.

i actually bought 6x9's for the rear of my car some nice pioneer premiers and took em out because i liked it better with just the front...

or you can be creative and put more than one set of component speakers up front lol

More is louder, but will mess up your sound. I know a guy sending 8w RMS to his speakers, and they keep up with his substage.

In my new setup, I will only be sending about 35w to my mids. I guarantee those comps can handle more power as well, but you won't need it.

Multiple component sets up front would COMPLETELY overpower his substage lol.

Alright guys, I'm going to bed. I'll check in on this tomorrow.

yea lol just saying if he is that worried about it he could do it my friend has three door speakers 2 in pods he built and one in the stock location in each door and is going to have some in the kicks

and btw, just so i can learn this...

the comp speakers play the MUSIC right? like the treble and song... words, ect

i dont want them just doing the bass like my subs...

sorry if this is noob

should i get that amp or the one he suggested?

and being that everything is smaller, that means it will be less power...

does this mean my car should be able to handle it without doing the Big3 install??

and does it matter how many channels the speakers has? i see some with 3 channel, ect.

i think those pioneers he suggested dont have any channels

it is ok we all started somewhere...first off tweeter is for the higher freq's it is pretty much the treble.

the driver( the bigger speaker of the two) is for mid bass for the mid range

and subs are for the subsonic the lower freq bass...

that is a simple way of explaining so you can get it it is a lil more complicated than that!

hahaha this guys a REAAAALLL nut head...
GTFO

ah ok...

but what is the better amp? the one he suggested

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17193

or the one i showed you?

i want to purchase this tonight and would like to know which goes with those pioneers better

plus i need to know the 3-way thing

some say 3-way... others 2... ect

is 3-way better than 1-way?

he said to get these http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17068 but I dont know which 1 it is... 3-way, 2-way or 1-way lol

and how does it compare to this

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19149

^is that worth the 100 bucks extra?

The crossover that comes with the comps does the job of seperating frequencies. They keep everything where it belongs. Find a good place to mount your tweeters. maybe pm iamamp3pimp and ask his advice on that since he has the same car.

The one you posted will work, but the Alpine he suggested is much better. Plus if you decide to upgrade your sub amp you can get an Alpine PDX mono amp and stack it on top of the small two channel amp and save a lot of room.

You can try it without the big 3, there's no way to know if it'll be okay or not until you get it installed.

It doesn't matter how many "channels" a speaker has. 3 way speakers usually have a mid and 2 tweeters on each side instead of just a mid and 1 tweeter. One tweeter per side is plenty.

The Pioneers would be 2 way, they just don't say so.

and heres to hoping the rma mat will fix the rattle in my trunk

The Raammat should greatly decrease the rattles, but even low power subs like you have are going to cause a little bit of rattling no matter what you do.
