Its the AP2000. I know that they probobly aren't built like my RD 3250 or anything but for the wifes car we just need a fair am at a good price ($80). I found that it does have 4-25 amp fuses and they claim 960@4ohms bridged.

that amp has very dirty power and if it really does put out the power it says I would be extremely surprised, but if thats your budget ok i guess. I would get a crunch amp off of ocs just remember to cut the power they list by half, they mistakenly list max power instead of rms.

and crunch amps are cheap but have a good record of reliability and actual rms power.

I personally have played with the Profile AP2000.1 and I liked it, Its a BEAST in size but I believe it does rated power its decently built and for 80 bucks thats a steal. They sell new on Ebay for 170ish?

id take a profile amp over a crunch any day.

they do rate the RMS ratings if you can read the specs/manual.

ive had two of the 600msx's running for almost a year at 1.5ohm (theyre rated down to 2 ohm) before they finally shit , and it was partially my fault for not having a solid ground for that long. and to get them fixed by profile was a whopping $25 iirc , plus they actually have good CS.

as far as their newer amps , everything ive read on the forums about them are positive.

the profile will put out around 600 watts rms x1 .. its a class a/b budget amp...

its not the best amp in the world, but it will do what you need it to do.....are there better amps out there? yes is it a good one?....well, you get what you pay for...lol

I would love to see that lolz. I have customers that have the super junky old school crunch amps from over 10 yrs ago, way before Maxxsonics bought them and made them better. profile is a budget amp as well but doesnt have that kind of reliabilty in my experience. "dirty" power i.e. shitty components that cause distortion. for $80 i'd buy the amp too lolz.
