Nope. They played with 4" coils on prototypes (basically TRF motor/TC 4hp), but found that the efficiency of 3" was worth more than the added power handling of 4".I think some Shocker subs have 4" coil
The reason most companies don't do a production 4" coil on a 12" is that with most off-the-shelf baskets you lose a bit of excursion with standard 8" spider.
Plenty of 3" coil subs that would take the 2500D if you're careful, and really 2500 is fully capable of blowing up a 4" coil.
