Their great subs, i own 3 of them.

well i wanted to know if tc sounds subs are good and can they really handle rms ratings well.

clearly the original poster was asking TC's good track record along with its bad. There are of course plenty of both opinions since so many people have purchased their subs since they went direct to the public.

You are right- I was not at ALL directing that comments towards you... you have every right to your opinion, and to state that opinion, as you have done extensive work with them. im talking about the people who have NEVER dealt with tc, just hate based on what they have "heard"...

I love the TC9 based RL-P subs. They handle lots of power and get very loud. While at the same time sounding good.

oh i know bro, I didnt intend on that comming across like that. And TC does make good stuff for the daily beater crowd, which prob 90% of its sales are intended for.

yeah well....i expressed my opinion of them, since i had a horrific experience with them. I don't bash them, they seem to have some very good products, but after i got a defective sub, the nightmare really began when i contacted them for help.

What was wrong with your sub and how didn't they help you?

Tc has Excellent SQ subs that can get really loud. The tc-3000 had some issues that they acknowldeged and fixed for customers at no charge and gave a lifetime warranty on the ones that were in the bad batch

I've had my 18" 5200 for a while now and it hasn't failed me yet. I've played it full tilt for hours on long drives and I've only smelt the glue burning maybe twice. It's a beast of a sub

I've never owned a tc sounds driver. But I have had a few subs with their motor. I've liked them. As far as the company I've never dealt with them.

had a 3hp based 10 and 2 tc9 based 12s. Also have another tc9 motor that I may recone into a 10 or 15...not sure yet
