They're V1's instead of V2's...still nice subs if you can find them cheap. Hell, I like W0's when you can find them for 50-60 on craigslist.

That's how my 10W6AE's came in the tan box. They were bought in 2002.

i know I can't answer that but I did have 4 10W0s in a ported box that hit harder than guys with 3 12W3s sealed. i'd go with the 10s ported.

To this I would say I used to have 4 10W6AE's under my back seat sealed and down firing. They hit harder and pressured 10 db higher than a guy who had 2 12W6 subs ported. It sounded like they were ported even though they were sealed. 0.75 cu ft/sub. It was great enclosure.

You just need to make sure you have the power for the subs. I had a JL Slash 1000/1 for the 4 subs.

the first loud system i heard was a buddy with 4 12w4s on 2 old punch 800s, sealed fiberglass box in a 90ish mustang hatchback.

i knew a guy with a 98ish ranger that had 2 of the 15w3v2s when they first came out, i think he paid 500 each for them or something crazy. that system hit really hard though too...
