im completly for having at least 2000 rms as long as i dont go over my original budget, not by much more at least. I drive a pontiac g6 sedan has a good ammount of trunk space

i bought my aq2200 for 340,

just depends what subs you want to run that will keep you in your budget range or not

you wanted "QUALITY" and "RELIABLE" stuff thats what you were reccomended. if you go local cut your budget in half because of markup fyi

and i completely appriciate the recommedations!!! yes i know of the local markup im still in the process of looking for vendors as we speak. but that wasnt my biggest problem right now.

mylows will be good on prices plus his sale if you miss out on that you will be sorry in the long run youll be kicking your self. whats the biggest problem install?

yea that sounds good i keep getting told the dc level 4 are a very good way to go! that might be in car in the near future! i was looking more into the 15" preferably.

id go with the level 4, i used to have a set of level 4 15's on my aq2200, LOVED THEM.. only reason i sold them was space issues. amazing subs though, get really low and sound good doing it.

that is a minor problem. i will have the local car audio shop do the install and i have many friends that know more than me in installation as well. the biggest problem right now for me is just picking out the right subwoofer and amp combo. as of now im leaning towards DC Audio

Id suggest a pair of ssa gcon 12's audioque 1200d and audiotechnix 1/0 kit. Loud but great sounding subs that will be very reliable with that power. The amp is reliable and about as much power as you want to run on factory electrical. Have one of the box builders on here build you a great custom box and enjoy.

I would recommend a full Alpine system for a good power sq system on a budget.

While Alpine does make some good stuff. I wouldn't recommend going full Alpine, especially looking at the sub system, which there are better for the money
