Hi guys!

Well, a little while back, I had made this thread:

http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=218618

Basically, Im in Seoul, South Korea, and Im on the hunt to find factories which supply the U.S brands/market. In that thread, I had great success in finding a really great company. My goal is to try and find amps not only for myself but possibly for sale. I thought it would be a great opportunity since Im here

Looking around further, I found the company in downtown Seoul which supplies for Crossfire. After visiting their main office, they told me that their company is here, but their manufacturing plant is in China. Thats mostly the case these days with all the Korean companies they said. The cost is too great for the Korean companies, so they set up shop in China.

However, the factory in the thread I pasted is ONLY in Korea. I seen their production line and everything is made here.

So which leads me to believe, that would ALL the companies, especially popular amps on here like Sundown, Incriminator Audio, JL, etc. be all made is China? Like their mainboards/PCB's ?

Im just curious.

IA boards are maybe, cuse doesn't like 3 other companys use the same board?

Only company I know for sure thats in the US would probably be Zed Audio. I know even Tru Technology had Korean stuff a while ago and supposly now are US made. I heard Arc Audio was from Korea too, but i duno.

yeah, id LOVE to find the IA boards //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

after talking to these companies, what they do is just when they get a contract from the U.S or Europe, they take the orders of around minimum 300 pieces/amps, and they just submit their amp cover design/apperance to the korean company and they have them make it. They said anyone of us can even make our own amp and put any design we like on it. of course, you'd have to buy a bulk amount which is impossible!!

See, the ultimate find, would be to get access to boards from sought after amp models that are tried and tested with the same specs, and i could care less about the housing. geez.. id cover the PCB's with clear fiberglass if need be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
