are all sony amps crap????

Sony today really seems pretty cheap... they appear to use the cheapest parts they can get away with and still make the product reliable... as an example, fixed crossovers on the four channel and the front two channels are not bridgeable... which is okay I guess, but I can't recommend them as the best bang for the buck amps. With that said, there are worse out there.

this sony amp is not crap

I'd **** a goat for those amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Older Sony ES is the shit.

the problem with xplod stuff is they only write the peak wattage on their products and make no mention of RMS.... misrepresented crap

I had an xplod amp, it was reliable but not really powerful, it said "1000w" on it but really put out about 200w RMS
