are 18" subwoofers illegal to have in car in alabama??

lol sounds like something Alabama would come up with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif really. Some things only happen in alabama.

I guess no one is paying attention to the fact that his car is walled off. If your car is indeed walled off then yes I am pretty sure the authorities do have the right to bust you. If the car is not walled then you should be fine. There are no laws dictating the maximum size of subwoofers in a car. That's nearly as ridiculous as passing a law that dictates the maximum size of a penis.

I guess you aren't paying attention to the fact that the legality of walled cars has been discussed throughout this entire thread. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

ever since i got my 18" in my car ive had like 7-8 people say that it is illegal to have an 18" subwoofer in your car in the state of alabama..just wondering if this is true or just some rumor someone passed around
From what I understand, it is unlawful to have music that can be heard like so many feet from the car or some shit like that. But it is probably one of those rules they can enforce. Sort of like the seatbelt or being on the phone laws in Chicago.

I wonder if it is illegal for me to build 21" subwoofers in Alabama? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

well technically subwoofers are illegal. beeing that all of them can be heard outside of the car and exceed like the 90 db rating cops go by. at least in my town. but yet my brother got a noice ticket here and he doesnt even have subs? my town is really anal about loud music. the fine here starts at 1,080 dollars and goes as a criminal charge on your record, shits retarted
Oh, so technically cars are illegal, seeing as how all of them can kill someone, and killing someone is illegal
