arc audio subs

hey, i searched a little bit, but the word arc brings up wiring, etc.

how are the Arc audio subs? I am looking at an arc series 15", and wondering how they are as subs. I am looking for SQ, as i am coming from an RLP.

I heard that these are made by or designed by ID, but what would this compare to? Is this similar to the ED O that was made by ID awhile ago? I have a 2.6-2.7 net box for a 15 made, and these say 3 cubes, so it should be close.

They are all pretty good from what I have read, but I cannot speak from experience.

I only have experience with the KAR series, they're a very musical sub at a decent price...hard to go wrong with it.

Does well in small sealed setups.

its a great SQ woofer... youll be happy with it. they work better is sealed enclosers just dont overpower them too much, thats the only problem i've seen with them.

Thanks, i talked to arc, and they said the motor of the 15 Arc series is the same one used in their flatline series that is comparable to the IDMAX! He said the motor is very similar to the limited run of ID SPL woofers, so i hope this will be good!

it is odd, that a speaker that reviews so well, and that has been compared to the idmax has so few people running it. I was hard pressed to find much info at all on them.

I own it and like it. 600 watts in a 2.2 sealed box...low end isnt as good as my ava 15 was but the top end is significantly better.

No clue...my box is 2.4 gross so its pretty big and I really enjoy it. All the ARC/ID setups I've heard were sealed. Try it and let us know....I'd tune low.

I must have been asleep when I posted above...I've also heard a Flatline, a single 12"...had an H701/DLS Nobelium 3-way setup up front. Amazing woofer.
