The reason it sounds louder is your are letting in mid bass.The LPF is just that a filter that stops anything but low notes from passing.Hence the reason for SUB woofer.Keep it on the 80.Other then that awesome ride!Fellow WJ owner myself doing mid 50's with a wall.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If I have it on 80 on the amp...

right now the LPF setting on my headunit is OFF - should i put it to something close to 80 or just leave it off?

oohhhh so i can either use the LPF on the amp OR headunit i see

cuz DJ did tell me just to turn off the LPF setting on my headunit, that why he told me to keep it at 80...but i see what your doing.

Which ones more accurate or which one should i depend more on

I'd worry more about the LPF on the amp then the headunit. Setting it at 80 will be fine. and changing the headunit to 80 if the amp is already at 80 isn't really going to make a difference.

is this dude loud yet, i mean **** man i read the first 3 pages then skip to like 17 an 18 then to the last just to see if he has an still don't think he is louder. all the vid links i have clicked on are deleted lol.

man dude you some great equipment i just hope you don't fry anything within the next couple months but you have had this system now for almost a year if i am correct cause if i saw right you was doing build log around august of last year.

well good luck with what you doing an get with someone that knows what they are doing cause believe it or not if they was taught by someone chances are they will teach you also.
