AQhdc318 + AQ2200 in my 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee

a lil update: everything goin well...havent touched my system in a while and i kept it from clippin. I mostly been touchin up my ride. Ill post pics up.

so just now i updated my ipod n while i was listenin to the tunez i went to go mess wit my system at low volume. gains right now all up all tha way with my knob up all the way too. (the volume goes nearly 90% b4 it starts clippin btw)

i was playing with my LPF setting (at 80 right now) turned it up and it got noticeably louder at that low volume....so..................wtf

(I dont exactly how the LPF setting works) so if anyone can help me out, ill appreciate it.

Should i turn my LPF to like ~120~ and lower my knob

If i turn up my LPF i can even lower the gains and leave my knob up

i got options

thanks, yea I was just wonderin since I was playing with my settings-at low volume-and that LPF made it much lowder.

maybe the whole system can be much louder without clippin idk

appreciate it but ya anyone know more about the LPF setting on the amp???

max on the LPF is 200 btw I was told to keep it at 80 by DJ(owner of AQ) and some others

drove around with it at about 120 and i could tell my sub was moving more so idk

painted the stock wheels black? they look good. im gonna take a guess that he has a ss xsx 10k on it.
yea painted cladding and rims //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i saw his amp...10k-gains must be way down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

and the calipers too...

cladding as in the plastic-it was a faded gray-now black

so should i raise up the LPF to 150??? im not going to until i get some info, since i dont know much about that setting

if you are talking about setting your lpf on the sub to 150 i wouldnt do it otherwise you are going to start getting words and other notes the sub isn't meant to duplicate. I always keep my sub LPF between 50-80 depending on what equipment I am running and the quality of the subs and amp. Just my .02

thanks, I see you hit 147@35 on your 18" BTL. How many watts you got to it>?I wanna get mine metered...never went
A SoundStream XXX10000 @ 1 ohm...so around 5000 watts depending on voltage...all trunk, small port area, tuned low, sealed up, on the dash...meh, it's ok //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
