Okay so im running an AQ2200 on a DD9512g. I have an alpine 9884 HU with alpine 6x9s in the door with no amp to them...just have them wired straight to the HU. I can't seem to fine tune my amp to have it loud but without clipping or having the subs surround "concave/crease" in on excursion. Im not sure if thats normal on the DD9500s but ive seen it happen on youtube videos before :/

Anyways...my box is 3cubes @ 35hz what can I do to get it fine tuned cause apparently my ears arent doing it. My subsonic has been set at 35hz down to 25hz and it gets louder and all but it just adds to the clipping...same with the LPF. The HPF on my HU is off. Subwoofer system setting on HU is on 1. bass/treble on HU is at 0

dude just grab a local competitor and talk with him about installing your system...as it appears you have no clue what you are doing nor are you willing to learn when people have told you countless times you have to upgrade your electrical...esp at 2k+ watts..

do you just follow my posts and dump on it everytime? Youre still bitter about me not buying you PA amp...

#1 i'm not bitter bout you not buying my PA amp. it sold for what i wanted when i needed it to sell.

#2 i've tried to give you advice and its apparent you dont know your grounds from your positives hence the reason why someone has you quoted in their sig about an amp smoking..

#3 when you can actually put together a system without crying about how you dont wanna do this or that and complain when its not working correctly or is clipping too much or your not able to crank it...then come talk to me about "dumping" on you...

till then i just "dumped" aka shit on you...cuz you dont know jack and you arent willing to learn or put in the time/money to correct problems.

LOL please find a post saying I dont know my pos. from my neg.

I take advice from people all the time..you dont offer any. All you do is tell me about how dumb or shitty my system is.

Back to the OP..I dont think my electrical is the problem. Im getting plenty of power and my volt meter is reading 13-14 while driving. Only time it drops low is if im at idle and have it cranked. The volt meter is plugged in my 12v port on the dash of my truck

ok here's your #1 answer

Is this the pos on my alt? Put the dmm on it and connected the ground on dmm to the neg. on battery and didnt get any reading. I hope this is it cause I think I have to take off alot of crap to get to it if it isnt.

#2 part...where i dont give you any advice..WRONG

he didnt wanna put the money into his electrical..and now is looking for 2-3k for 300 that's gonna drop voltage also...dude you have to upgrade electrical..and no thats not the positive..thats a ground point...your positive will have a wire coming directly off the alt.
here i a pic. farthest to the right...is the back of your alt...thats where its at. lower right corner of the first pic.

try gain 50% or so subsonic 30hz and lpf around 120. thats how mine was set in my 18 i've noticed that the lpf controls these amps more then the gain ihad my lpf low and didnt haby fardly any output i raised it higher and it got louder.
