aq2200d help!

so i got everything hooked up in my truck and i go to turn the system on and no sound of the subs so i cheked and im not getting anything out of the amp. the amp is powering up green light on and everything just no power out of the terminal. any idea of whats going on? thanks

Put the dmm on the post and neg terminals and play bass see if you get a reading

are you trying to measure voltage from the speaker terminals? sounds like it, is the meter set to ac like it should be. another thing make sure the wires are wired up right i think the terminals are on that amp are + + - -. so when i tried to do the two closest to each eitehr it didnt work, so i just used the too far ends like it usually do. then i realized what it didnt work. my rd 3250 is another way and at first the two far ends i think didnt work cuz they were the same polarity

anyone else? i replaced the rca's today and still the same problem im not getting anything off of the output terminals but the amp is powering up

You bought that 2200D new or used? Maybe the gain is all the way down? Did you hook up the gain knob? And someone mentioned the supwoofer setting on the HU

thanks everyone for the input i solved the problem. when i took off the negative on teh battery i forgot it reset everything on the HU lol. so all my subwoofer outputs were all the way down. everything is up and running. thanks again
