AQ SDC2.5 or DD 2500?????

I recall hearing that the sdcs were actually assembled in the us. I could be wrong, but I could have sworn I saw dj post that on here a while back.. Either way, the sdcs will hold its own against the dd, as does the hdca vs the 9500s. If money is no issue, then grab the dd, but like with the hdca's,and the 9500's, dont expect it to be noticeably louder.

I spoke with DJ last nite. He told me all AQ subs are built in house with only the motors assembled in china. granted the soft parts are still china made, but subs are assembled here.

The HDCA series are now hand built in house from Chinese and American parts. The motors are made in China, the suspension and soft parts assemblies are hand built in house. The spiders and coils are American made, the cones and baskets are built in China.

The HDC copper coil series are now hand built in house with Chinese parts. The SDC series have the final assembly in house with the motors made in China as well as the spider/coil/cone sub assembly.

Our amps are built in South Korea. None of our amps are built in China. Our comp sets are built in Germany.
