AQ power handling question

i had my hdc3 18" running at 1800 daily at first now i got a mm3000.1 on the way for it

How are you going to get 1500 watts out of a 1200 watt amp?

Higher voltage. And my amp bench tested 1460w at 13.1v. Imagine closer to 14.

Do you tell them aluminum coils and stiff suspension when you order?

hdc3 copper can handle over 2k rms on clean signal and alum is upwards 4k

iv been feeding each one of my hdc315s over 2k
